  • I need to cancel...
When booking tickets, please always ensure that you and anyone within your booking are able to attend the event. Unfortunately Ghostly Nights are not able to offer any refunds if you are unable to attend. As our locations are paid for in advance, Ghostly Nights are liable for these costs. If you wish to discuss, please get in touch.
  • I'm going to be late to the event...
Please always leave plenty of travel time to get to the event as some venues are more complex than others to find. We always ensure clear instructions and navigation routes are printed on your QR code ticket. If you are going to be late, please call us on 07493 803716. Please be aware that we may need to start the night without you so that we aren't holding back other guests.
  • Can you take a deposit?
We don't accept deposits on any bookings, however we have partnered with PayPal should you wish to spread out the payment.
  • Do I need to bring my ticket?
Please bring a copy of your QR code ticket on your phone as we'll scan this at the entrance. Please avoid printing your ticket if possible.
  • What happens if Ghostly Nights cancel the event?

Please avoid arriving too early as we'll be busy setting up the event and ensuring the refreshments are ready. You may arrive to the venue at a maximum of 30 minutes before the event starts.
  • Can I leave the night early?
We completely understand that the event will take you past your bedtime. Should you wish to leave the event early, please let one of the team know so that we can escort you from the premises safely. Please avoid leaving the event during a vigil, please wait until a break has started in case we need to unlock any gates etc.
  • What facilities are available?
For every venue we ensure that suitable facilities are available for you to use. Should facilities be limited, we will make this apparent on the ticket/venue about page. Hot and cold drinks along with snacks and biscuits are provided.
  • What happens if I get scared?
We always advise to bring a friend with you, especially if it's your first time. It's perfectly natural to be scared. Every event will have a base-room where you can go to take 5 if it's too much for you. We're always on hand to assist where needed. During every event we will conduct a grounding protection session at the start before we enter into the night.
  • Are all events accessibility friendly?
Not all events will be accessibility friendly. We will always stipulate in the venue information page whether the venue is accessibility friendly. Please contact us directly should you have any questions or concerns regarding this. We will always try to make arrangements so that you can still enjoy your night with us.
  • Can I bring my own equipment?
Absolutely! We encourage all fellow enthusiasts to bring their own equipment. Please be aware that it is your responsibility to take care of your own equipment and Ghostly Nights will not be responsible in the event of any breakage or stolen equipment. We do ask that you refrain from using any equipment during equipment-free vigils which tend to be at the beginning of the night.
  • Can I record the event?
We fully encourage you to take as many pictures and record videos for any intriguing footage you may capture. However, these images are for personal entertainment purposes only and are not for public view. Please also note that video streaming or vlogging is not allowed.
  • Do I need to bring a torch?
Please bring a torch for moving around rooms. Please avoid wearing a head torch as this can blind other guests. All torches should be pointed to the ground. If you don't have a torch, we can provide you with one.
  • What should I wear?
We recommend that you wear warm layered clothing as some locations can be extremely cold and other venues may be heated and will be warm. Flat, gripped shoes are mandatory as many of our locations are old buildings and have uneven surfaces. Some areas outdoors may be wet and slippery so please always take caution.
  • How many people will be there?
We have a capacity rating for each venue and will arrange all guests into groups to ensure that there aren't too little or too many guests in one location. We can expect at most times to have a maximum group of 10-12 guests per vigil.
  • What happens if I begin to feel unwell during the event?
Please let a member of the team know immediately so that we can escort you to the base-room.
  • Can I conduct my own investigation?
We know it's exciting to go on a ghost hunt. Please always stick with the groups during the night. During the main break we allow you to go off and conduct your own investigation on your own.
  • Can I use Ghostly Night equipment?
We provide cutting-edge modern ghost hunting equipment for you to use during the event. If you borrow our equipment you must take care of it.
