Ghostly Nights’ First Event at Beer Quarry Caves – A Haunting Success! 👻

We’re thrilled to share the highlights from our first-ever ghost hunt event at Beer Quarry Caves, and what a night it was! A massive thank you to all the guests who joined us and made the evening truly unforgettable.

Our night began in the eerie Saxon area, which we affectionately call “The Stage.” We kicked off with some watch-and-wait sessions without equipment. Almost immediately, guests reported feeling temperature changes—many experienced cold touches on their hands, the sensation of their arms being lifted, or even the feeling of someone gently blowing on their necks. Dark presences were felt nearby, and mysterious footsteps, bangs, and whistles echoed through the caves.

We continued the night with four separate vigils in different locations within the caves. The Este method was notably quiet, but the motion-activated lights were triggered multiple times. Guests witnessed dark shadows crossing the laser grid, and cat balls lighting up in response to yes or no questions. Some of our guests felt particularly uneasy in the far end of the caves, adding to the night’s tension.

One particularly memorable moment occurred when a guest felt drawn to a specific table. During a table-tipping session, the table tipped over completely three times, balancing on one leg and spinning so fast that the guests could barely keep up. This incredible experience was attributed to the spirit of a young girl, who made her presence strongly felt.

The night also featured some EVP captures, and intelligent responses during our Ouija board sessions. The responses were nothing short of amazing, with spirits clearly making their presence known. The writing planchette moved with purpose, even producing interesting writing of a hand, with an index finger pointing a member of the group.

A candle mysteriously relit itself during a vigil which was very interesting, adding an extra layer of mystery to the night. Guests using dowsing rods in the museum/Saxon area also reported intriguing responses, with many connecting with spirits of a young boy from Saxon times, a man injured by an axe, and another buried in a hole. Some guests were even touched, and whispering was heard during the watch and wait vigil.

Although our human pendulum experiment yielded only a name, “Rodger,” we couldn’t verify his identity. Still, the overall experience left everyone eager for more.

As our first investigation at Beer Quarry Caves, it was an absolute success, and we can’t wait to return next time.

A huge thank you to all our wonderful guests who brought so much excitement and enthusiasm to the night. Please feel free to share your experiences and any photos you captured in the comments below.

Until next time, stay spooky! 👻

Went to Beer Quarry Caves with a friend for our first ever ghost hunt. An enjoyable evening in a spooky location. Different equipment for us to try. Interesting with the Ouija board with questions we asked being answered with a crystal instead. When my friend comes over to join us, the spirit took a liking to her. Highly recommend and look forward to our next ghost hunt in the near future. Thank you team
